Good afternoon doctor. My right index joint and left & right thumb were sore & swollen evenly from the base to the tips of the fingers. A year ago I was injected with flamicort and lidocain in these fingers to get rid of the itching & crusts that were present. After 6 months (June 2013) my fingers started to swell and hurt when moved until now. The neurologist was given drugs for osteoflam, arcoxia and artrodar. I have taken it for 10 days but the situation still doesn’t change. The lab test results for uric acid, cholesterol, rheumatism were all still within normal limits. X-rays were also normal for all the bones. Most likely the doctor said it was osteoarthritis. What should I do doc. thanks.
