Rudy Hidayat is a Rheumatologist in Rheumatology Division, Department of Internal Medicine, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in Jakarta. He is also a member of the Indonesian Medical Association, Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine, Indonesian Rheumatology Association (as a secretary general), and American Collage of Rheumatology (ACR) as International Member. He also involves in Special Interest Group (SIG) of APLAR, for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crystal-Induced Arthritis.
After completing his medical education at Brawijaya University School of Medicine in 1999, he continued his study at Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia as Internal Medicine Resident and graduated in July 2008, and Rheumatologist Consultant in 2011. He also took his study as a medical science doctoral in Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia and graduated in 2017.
In addition, he has also participated in several training and courses, such as Osteoporosis and Densitometry arranged by IOF (International Osteoporosis Federation), Intensive Course in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound by ISUM (Indonesian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine) Jakarta October 2008, Advanced Course of Osteoporosis, by IOF Lyon France February 2009, Course in Molecular Biology and Immunology by Center for Tropical Medicine Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah mada University Yogyakarta March 2009, Courses and workshops on Applied Good Clinical Practice (GCP) by PERGEMI Jakarta May 2015 and the 16th EULAR Postgraduate Course in Rheumatology by EULAR Prague Czech Republic October 2016.
Currently he is Head of the Rheumatology Division and a lecturer at Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. He also serves as a rheumatologist consultant at Pantai Indah Kapuk Hospital.
